"This track was written after I watched the film The Great Gatsby. I was so into this film, the dress, wild parties, music and attitude of the people at this time. I decided to find out more about the 1920's. The buzz words of the day and other things which could be interesting.
The lyrics took a day. I used a lot of the buzz words from the 1920's like nark off the man, (rip him off), Doll (woman), spiffy Sheba ( fit girl).
The music took a couple of weeks as I wanted it to have the jazz feel of the time but be modern."
